Formula 1 superstar Lewis Hamilton recently had two personal accomplishments that prove that he is more than just a racer.

This year has been a great year for Hamilton as the F1 star just accomplished two things on top of his success in racing and win at the 2019 British Grand Prix.

Just a few days ago, Hamilton took to social media to share his thoughts on being recognized as an "icon" in one of the latest issue of Sports Illustrated. Along with women's tennis superstar Serena Williams, Hamilton was included in Sports Illustrated's Fashionable Fifty.

The F1 champ posted a heartfelt message on his official Facebook account, stating how grateful he is for the recognition. He also revealed that fashion has always been something he is "passionate about." Hamilton also shared that he loves creating designs and collaborating with others to bring it all to life.

Aside from being regarded as a fashionable sports icon, Hamilton also seems to be passionate in maintaining tiptop shape. On his official Instagram account, the 34-year-old racer posted a photo of himself without a shirt showing off his tremendously fit physique.

Hamilton associated the photo with a motivational message for all his followers, saying that working out is not easy but "consistency" is the key. "Working out is never easy. Pushing your body beyond where it wants to go is never easy. Finding the motivation is the hardest thing for us all but you have to find it somehow someday," Hamilton wrote.

Hamilton then followed it up by admitting that despite his evidently fit body, he's still working on his fitness and he encourages all his followers to not give up and work hard to achieve the body they desire.

“I’m still working on my fitness. I have good and bad days, days I don’t want to workout and days I do. But consistency is key. So where ever you are, let’s get that workout in and don’t give up as you can be and look however you want if you work for it," Hamilton emphasized.

Meanwhile, Hamilton leads the F1 championship after an impressive and dominating start to the season. The Englishman has won seven of the 10 races so far to lead the standings by 39 points. He is on his way to a sixth title.

But things could change for Hamilton due to the fact that sitting in second place is teammate Valtteri Bottas, which makes a title battle even more unlikely as the nearest competitor is another 48 points behind.
