Four new TV spots of “Fantastic Four” have surfaced online. They put each member of the team including Mr. Fantastic (Miles Teller), Invisible Woman (Kate Mara), The Thing (Jamie Bell) and The Human Torch (Michael B. Jordan) in the spotlight and show off their superhero personas and abilities.

In the first spot, Reed Richards is seen working as a scientist in a lab. His abilities as Mr. Fantastic include superhuman elasticity and shape shifting. He is shown extending his arms as he appears to be fastened to a bed. A narrative in the background says, “He just cracked into dimensional travel.” Another spot opens with Ben Grimm playing baseball. His powers as The Thing include superhuman strength, stamina and durability. He appears to have rock-like skin and is shown throwing a jeep with his hands. He is also shown taking rapid-fire shots in his chest and punching a tree.

In the third spot, Johnny Storm’s superhero persona The Human Torch is introduced. His powers include fire manipulation and flight. He is shown turning into a fireball and flying. In the last spot, hyper-intelligent Sue Storm is shown. As Invisible Woman she can generate force fields and can make herself disappear. She appears to be telling Reed Richards, “ I have got to say it is fun having you here.” In all the four spots the Fantastic Four have been referred to as extraordinary subjects.

Josh Trank has directed “Fantastic Four” and it will see four friends teleporting to an alternate universe and gaining superhuman abilities. They must learn to harness their strength against the common enemy Doctor Doom (Toby Kebbell).

Trank wrote the screenplay with Simon Kinberg and Jeremy Slater, based on the comic book “Fantastic Four” by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. The star cast also includes Reg E. Cathey and Tim Blake Nelson. It was filmed in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and has music by Marco Beltrami and Philip Glass. Produced by Kinberg, Matthew Vaughn and Hutch Parker, the film opens Aug.7, 2015.
