WWE “Total Divas” star Paige's fiancé Alberto Del Rio responded to the nude photo and sex tape leak Thursday. Del Rio said in a statement he will not be attending WrestleCon, a wrestling convention scheduled to take place next weekend in Orlando, Florida, after his fiancée got involved in the Fappening 2.0, a massive celebrity nude photo scandal.

“Due to the invasion of our privacy I need to be home with the person that needs me more at the moment and our family,” Del Rio said in the statement provided to the booking agency Prime Time Appearances. “Thanks for your support and I’ll be seeing you there next time.”

Del Rio and Paige got engaged last October after dating for about a year. The two are expected to get married in May.

Paige confirmed last week that her personal pictures and videos were leaked. “Personal and private photos of mine were stolen and unfortunately they were shared publicly without my consent,” she tweeted to her 1.82 million followers.

Paige’s parents, Saraya and Ricky Knight, also responded to the hack.

“People get hacked, unfortunately my daughter had pics and video shared from years ago. My husband and I support her 100 percent. No fault of her own,” Saraya Knight tweeted to her 36,000 followers Friday. She added Monday: “Sat with my husband, he is sobbing, he can't even speak. I'm losing everything I love, the business we love will kill us it seems.”

Paige’s father said he was concerned about his daughter's condition after the leak.

“My last say on the scandal surrounding my daughter I have just spoken to her over Facebook and I am worried for her mental health or worse,” he wrote Monday. “She has not killed anyone [or] robbed anyone. She was having sex in a private situation between consulting adults and then has been betrayed by some low lives. As her Dad, I urge people to back off as I say I am very worried for her. It will be no good backing her when it’s too late like many other celebrities who have left us.”

Paige is not the only one involved in the nude photo hacking scandal. Celeb Jihad published compromising photos of Emma Watson, Amanda Seyfried, actress Rose McGowan, figure skater Analeigh Tipton, model Dylan Penn, "Arrow" star Katie Cassidy and many others.

The massive hack is similar to the one that occurred in 2014, called "the fappening" — a subreddit by the same name that was created for pictures and news related to the leaked images that were first posted on 4chan.

While many celebrities confirmed the latest hack, others responded they were not part of the leak after rumors surfaced about their nude photos surfacing online.
