A New York City police officer is being held without bail after trying to get her current boyfriend to hire a hitman to kill both his own teenage daughter and her ex-husband.

Valerie Cincinelli, 34, of Long Island, was arrested on Friday and taken into custody after the FBI found out she was plotting to put a hit on her former spouse, Isaiah Carvalho Jr., NBC reports.

It remains unclear why Cincinelli wanted her current boyfriend's daughter to also be killed.

According to court documents, when informed of the scenario and the fact that his daughter was one of the intended targets, Cincinell's boyfriend wore a recording device when meeting with her, allowing authorities to record his phone calls. She then wound up meeting with an undercover agent who posed as a hitman and paid him $7,000 in gold coins to complete the job.

While putting together her plot, Fox News reports that Cincinelli requested that the murder did not take place in "the hood" or "the ghetto" so it wouldn't look suspicious.

Regarding her ex-boyfriend's daughter, she allegedly said, "Run her the f–k over, how about that."

It is believed there is enough evidence against Cincinelli to secure a conviction.

“The evidence, in this case, is overwhelming,’’ said Brooklyn U.S. Attorney Richard Donoghue, according to court documents.

Cincinelli, a 12-year veteran of the force, could face up to 10 years in prison.
