A new leak that has recently surfaced online seemingly confirms that the legendary soccer player David Beckham would be part of the "FIFA 21" as an Icon in the Ultimate Team mode.

The news came from EA Sports FIFA Forums user ponnyslakteriet, who suggested that the English midfielder would have a 92 overall rating on his Prime card. Additionally, the iconic soccer player allegedly sports a buzz cut reminiscent of his prime days in soccer in the early 2000s.

The tipster did not simply pull this information out of thin air. According to them, the assets were uncovered by data miners in the game’s Title Update 5. Apart from David Beckham, data miners allegedly found Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Liverpool’s Saido Mane in the files.

There are also face scans of Lamar Jackson, who is the quarterback of Baltimore Ravens, NBA stars Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joel Embiid, and strangely, that of pop star Dua Lipa. Rumors have it that these non-soccer players discovered in the assets might be introduced in the "FIFA 21" Volta Mode. These personalities would compete in Futsal in this particular mode.

"FIFA 21" Ultimate Team has been out for a couple of months now, with players trying their best to earn coins and build their dream team. This year’s lineup of Icons includes Fernando Torres, Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldinho and Diego Maradona. The French iconic soccer player Eric Cantona was also added to the list.

David Beckham is among the legendary soccer players in the world and some fans have been wondering why he is not in the lineup. It can be recalled that the English midfielder signed an exclusive deal with Konami, the team behind the "Pro Evolution Soccer," in 2017. The exclusive contract may have ended if rumors of his arrival in "FIFA 21" are true.

The tipster also said that all information and the player model have already been added to the game. However, EA needs to "activate" it first before Beckham will be available. Moreover, they also shared some details about Beckham stats in the game, including an overall rating of 92, RM position (CM as secondary), 3-Star skills rating, High/High work rate and a 4-Star rating for his weak foot. Prominent YouTuber Kieron SFF doubled down on the leak.

While the latest leak is exciting, it is worth noting that this is unofficial.

"FIFA 21" is playable on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows.
