Special Fire Force Company 8 is back in action as the second season of the anime series airs from July 3.

With new characters and missions, “Fire Force” Season 2, Episode 1 welcomes Shinra and his gang.

According to the spoilers released by the official website, Special Fire Force Company 8 is spending some peaceful time after the battle. Shinra and his friends are enjoying their vacation time, but the city starts to burn again, and this time it is bigger. The heroes need to report and save the city in “Fire Force” Season 2, Episode 1.

New characters are joining the second season of “Fire Force.” Yuichiro Kurono, portrayed by Takahiro Sakurai, is the head researcher (pyrokinesis) at Hajima Industries. Yuichiro is a Third Generation Pyrokinetic, and he is also known as Death, Anime News Network reported. He loves threatening the weak.

Kasugatani Inka, voiced by Miyuri Shimabukuro, enjoys the adrenaline rush and gets easily bored. She and her friends go out to loot places where spontaneous combustion happens. However, she feels a sudden rise of power within her after an incident.

Another new character is Pan Ko Paat, voiced by Daisuke Ono is the captain of Company 4 of Fire Force. He was stationed at the Fire Force academy where he trained Shinra and Arthur.

Kentaro Ito will voice a male Scop, and Sho Hayami will voice Yata (a crow). These animals used to inhabit Oasis.

The cast of “Fire Force” includes Gakuto Kajiwara (Shinra Kusakabe), Aoi Yuki (Kotatsu Tamaki), Ayaka Asai (Lisa Isaribi), Chikahiro Kobayashi (Assault), Cho (Soichiro Hague), Daisuke Sakaguchi (Viktor Richt), Hiroki Yasumoto (Haran), Kenji Nomura (Flail), Kengo Kawanishi (Toru Kishiri), Kentaro Ito (Scoop), Taiten Kusunoki (Leonard Burns), Sho Hayami (Yata), Satoshi Hino (Foein Li), Susumu Chiba (Mirage), Tomoaki Maeno (Konro Sagamiya), Tomokazu Seki (Rekka Hoshimiya), Yutaka Aoyama (Dr Giovanni), Yumi Uchiyama (Arrow).

“Fire Force” Season 2, Episode 1, is slated to air Friday (July 3). Funimation will exclusively stream the second episode. Currently, the episodes will be available in Japanese with English subtitles.
