American Samoa tsunami videos are being made public online by witnesses showing the devastation left in the villages along the shoreline of the island.

The tsunami has killed at least 141 people in the South Pacific's Samoan islands and Tonga, Bloomberg reported today. 100 People have been confirmed dead in Samoa, the paper says.

The footages of witnesses show debris all around, cars flipped on the streets and boats that were dragged to the land. One of the narrators, interviewed by the Associated Press says people there have been told to stay on higher grounds.

The tsunami was triggered by an 8.0 earthquake that hit the South Pacific Ocean. The earthquake was the deadliest since a magnitude 6.3 temblor that caused 300 deaths in Italy in April, Bloomberg reports.
