"Flip or Flop" star Christina El Moussa was humiliated by Tarek on the sets of their HGTV show, a report claimed Wednesday. Hours after the InTouch Weekly claim, Tarek took to his Instagram account to slam "irresponsible media" over the "fake news" about him.

In a new report, InTouch Weekly claimed that the former couple had ugly fights before Tarek filed for divorce last week.

“Tarek found humor in insulting his wife in repeated verbal attacks. Some of his bad behavior was even caught on camera [in footage that never aired],” the source reportedly said, adding that Christina would often be left in tears during tapings in 2016.

However, Christina’s representative declined to comment about Tarek's behavior to InTouch.

Meanwhile, Tarek slammed the "fake news" about him making the rounds, saying that he will start focusing on important things in his life.

Tarek and Christina reportedly split in May 2016 following a gun incident, which resulted in police being called to their home. The former couple announced their separation in December, but claimed the gun incident was a misunderstanding.

Last week, Tarek filed for divorce from Christina and requested joint legal and physical custody of his two children. Along with this, Tarek demanded spousal support from his estranged wife and asked her to pay his attorney's fees. He also requested that the court not award any alimony to her.

Christina is currently dating Gary Anderson, who is a contractor with their show. Most recently, rumors surfaced that Tarek caught Christina sending inappropriate messages to Anderson.

“Christina grew close to Gary,” an insider told InTouch Weekly. “Tarek was suspicious that she was getting involved with someone but had no concrete evidence. [In May], Tarek saw Christina’s phone and [believed] there was some inappropriate texting going on between Christina and Gary.”

However, the El Moussas have denied this, saying: “Neither of us was involved in a romantic relationship with any third party prior to our separation, or believes the other was.”
