The betting odds for Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor have changed several times over the last few weeks. They finally appear to be settling in with less than a month left until the biggest fight in history.

Mayweather was made a significant favorite when it first looked like the boxing match could actually happen, and it’d still be considered an upset for McGregor to win. The UFC star’s odds, however, aren’t nearly what they once were, and he’s no longer much of a betting longshot to beat the greatest boxer of his generation.

Mayweather’s odds have gotten down to as low as -500, but things didn’t stay that way for long. He’ll probably remain around -600 for the next few weeks, though odds can sometimes change dramatically in the days leading up to a fight.

As much as Mayweather and Leonard Ellerbe have said that McGregor can win, just about every boxing expert agrees that McGregor isn’t going to be victorious on Aug. 26. Plenty of UFC fans and casual fans of both sports are giving McGregor a shot, given the punching power that he’s shown inside the octagon.

There is one thing regarding the fight that almost everyone believes; if McGregor is going to win, it’s going to have to come by way of a knockout.

Mayweather is the far superior boxer, having gone 49-0 and beating the best fighters of the last two decades. He’s done so with some of the best defensive boxing skills that anyone’s ever possessed, and he dominated the latter part of his career by outpointing his opponent. Mayweather’s last seven fights have all gone 12 rounds, and he’s won each bout handily by decision.

McGregor has made it clear that he’ll try to stop Mayweather, promising a knockout within the first four rounds. With McGregor given +400 odds to win the fight, he has nearly the same odds to get a knockout at +500, via OddsShark.

McGregor’s +1000 odds to win by decision seem generous, considering he’s never fought a 12-round boxing match in his life. Mayweather has +200 odds to win a fight that goes the distance.

Despite his lack of knockouts, Mayweather is favored to stop McGregor. He’s got -140 odds to win by knockout, having not won in that fashion since he defeated Victor Ortiz with a controversial knockout six years ago.

Both fighters have +1600 odds to end the fight within the first three minutes.

As a fan favorite and the heavy underdog, McGregor has received the majority of the support at various sportsbooks. That means bookmakers are likely rooting for Mayweather to get the victory.

Even if the fight turns out to be competitive, it will be hard for the action inside the ring to match the build towards the bout. Mayweather and McGregor embarked on a four-city press tour to promote the fight, and it’s dominated the sports world for much of the summer.

McGregor is reportedly still hoping to defend his UFC lightweight championship before 2017 is out, and Mayweather says he’s done boxing for good after Aug. 26.
