In a post shared on Monday via Facebook, Roger E. Mosley's daughter, Ch-a, confirmed the news of her father's death through a heartwarming message as a tribute to celebrate Mosely's legacy.

"Roger E. Mosley, my father, your friend, your 'coach Mosley' your 'TC' from Magnum P.I., passed away at 1:17 a.m. He was surrounded by family as he transcended peacefully. We could never mourn such an amazing man. He would HATE any crying done in his name. It is time to celebrate the legacy he left for us all," his daughter wrote.

She continued, "I love you, daddy. You loved me too. My heart is heavy, but I am strong. I will care for mommy, your love of almost 60 years. You raised me well, and she is in good hands. Rest easy."

Mosley died at 83, but the cause of his death has yet to be confirmed by his loved ones. However, it was revealed that a week prior, the veteran actor was involved in a major car accident that left him in a critical state, Parade reported.

The actor was best known for his work on the original CBS crime drama "Magnum, P.I." where he starred as the helicopter pilot Theodore "T.C." Calvin alongside Tom Selleck. He also appeared in films and TV shows, including "You Take The Kids," "I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings" and "Walker."
