The Fourth of July has finally arrived but that doesn’t mean you are obligated to watch fireworks or host an impromptu party celebrating America’s birthday. For those individuals who are not interested in leaving the house, or who simply forgot to make plans, there are several TV marathons that are scheduled to air on July 4.

With more than 20 TV shows and movies to watch, celebrating the Independence Day holiday in front of the television has never been so easy.

Check out what marathons will be airing on television on July 4th. (Note: All times are in EDT)

6 a.m.

Real Housewives of Orange County

-A “Real Housewives of Orange County” marathon will air until 3:29 p.m. on Bravo.

-Fans can catch back-to-back episodes of “NCIS,” which will run until 10 p.m. on USA.

6:30 a.m.

-SyFy will air the first five movies from “A Nightmare on Elm Street” franchise, followed by the 2010 remake starring Jackie Earle Haley in the role of Freddy Krueger.

7 a.m.

-A “Spider-Man” marathon will air on FX kicking off with the 2002 version starring Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst. The film will be immediately followed by “The Amazing Spider-Man” and “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” in which Andrew Garfield takes on the role of Peter Parker.

-BET will air back-to-back episodes of “Hit the Floor” until 4 a.m. the following day.

8 a.m.

-An “Expedition Unknown” marathon will air until 10 p.m. on the Travel Channel.

-Viewers can take a look back at “Empire” when TV ONE airs every episode from Season 2.

-Aspire will air the first Season of the “The Bernie Mac Show,” immediately followed by several episodes from Season 2.

9 a.m.

-“The Twilight Zone” marathon will air until 11 p.m. on DECADES.

-A “Chicago P.D.” marathon will run on Oxygen featuring episodes from Season 4.

10 a.m.

-TNT will air the first six episodes of “Animal Kingdom” Season 3.

-Nicktoons will be entertaining kids with a “Keep It Spotless” marathon that will run until 8 p.m.

11:30 a.m

-The first three “Jaws” films will begin airing in chronological order in the late morning and will end Thursday at 3:10 a.m. on AMC.

12 p.m.

-Learn about some of the most notorious criminals in history when Reelz airs a marathon of “Gangsters: America’s Most Evil.”

12:30 p.m.

-“Meet the Parents,” “Meet the Fockers” and “Little Fockers” will run back-to-back starting in the early afternoon on E!. Encore presentations of the three films will air once again, but out of order, until 2:30 a.m. the following day.

2 p.m.

-The Food Network will air more than 12 hours of “Guy’s Grocery Games.”

3 p.m.

-All 10 episodes of “Wrecked” Season 1 will air back-to-back until 8 p.m. on TBS.

-A movie marathon featuring several films from the “National Lampoon” franchise will air until Thursday at 4 a.m. on IFC.

3:30 p.m.

-“Captain America: The First Avenger” will air on FX followed by “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.” The network will then run encore presentations of both films.

4:33 p.m.

-Catch up on the first four episodes of “Claws” Season 2 with a mini-marathon on TNT.

8 p.m.

-AMC will air the first two episodes of “Gotti: Godfather and Son” back-to-back until Thursday at 4 a.m. on A&E.

10 p.m.

-Back to back episodes of “NCIS” will air until Friday at 3 a.m. on Oxygen.

Whether you plan on binge-watching your favorite show all day or catching part of a marathon before heading out to join loved ones, be sure to have fun during your Fourth of July celebration.
