Is Frank Ocean finally releasing an album after forcing fans to wait for years? The artist who promised an album last year and failed to release one gave fans a glimmer of hope in the early hours of Monday. According to Fader, around 3:30 a.m. EDT what seemed to be live stream footage appeared on Frank Ocean’s website, boysdontcry.co.

The video is in black and white and features a large room with two desks. A man can also be seen walking around possibly tidying up the place. The clip, which is running on a loop, can be viewed on the Safari browser, according to Francisco Soriano, who directed it. Soriano posted and then deleted a screenshot of the video on Instagram. He captioned the photo, "Video project I directed is now up and runnin."

Although this loop isn’t streaming Ocean's new music, this marks the latest update on his website. Last month the image of a library card with the title, “Due Date” on top appeared on the site. At the bottom of the card were the words “Boys Don’t Cry.”

The card featured several anticipated album dates, including some which were crossed out. Others appeared to be smudged.

Ocean’s expected album release date of July 31, has passed but that doesn’t mean there is no hope. The singer is still expected to release a new album and fans will have the best chance at a live stream by keeping up with his website.

Back in March, “Channel Orange” producer Malay told Pitchfork, "When he's ready, the world is gonna get it." He continued, "It could be tomorrow… well not tomorrow but maybe a month [laughs]. He's been working super hard. I feel like he's working harder than he's ever worked in his life. I'm excited for everyone to hear it. I think people are going to be pleasantly surprised, for sure."

Considering March was five months ago, fans have a fair chance of hearing a new album from Ocean sooner rather than later. Be sure to check the singer’s website for possible live streams, chances are he may be working with Apple Music seeing as they participated in hosting the video loop.

Only time will tell if this is just another post or the beginning of the world getting some beautiful music from Ocean.
