American singer and songwriter Frank Ocean has pulled out of the upcoming FYF Fest in Los Angeles and is now replaced by rapper Kanye West, who will now be the new headliner for the fest.

It's unclear why the “Pyramids” singer has decided to skip the festival and a statement from the fest organizers did not divulge much information. “Frank Ocean has decided on his own terms to cancel his appearance,” said the statement released by festival organizers, according to PitchFork. Ocean was expected to sing tracks from his recently announced new album.

Though the singer has not announced the name of this album, the A.V. Club writes that the album might be titled “Boys Don’t Cry.” Ocean was expected to release the album in July but it has now been delayed. The new album will be a follow-up to his 2012’s debut album, “Channel Orange.”

FYF Fest organizers have release a new poster for the weekend festival that shows West's name as a headliner. Kim Kardashian West's husband has a busy schedule this year, when it comes to performances. The “FourFiveSeconds” rapper is also scheduled to perform at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas in September, followed by an appearance at the Summer Ends Music Festival at Tempe Beach Park.

Also highlighted are other artists including Run The Jewels, Dinosaur Jr. and Morrissey. Other line-up includes D’Angelo and the Vanguard, FKA Twigs, Chet Faker, Flume, Belle & Sebastian and more.

FYF Fest will be a two day event, which will take place on Aug. 22 and Aug. 23 at LA Sports Arena & Exposition Park in Downtown Los Angeles. Apart from West, other musicians performing on Saturday's event include Bloc Party, Chet Faker, The Jesus & Mary Chain and Purity Ring.

Meanwhile, festival goers on Sunday will see artists like Morrissey, Flume, Solange, FKA Twigs, and more. Tickets for the festival are available at this link.
