The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and iPhone XS Max successors may get introduced around the same time later this year. Hence, it is too early to speculate on the specifications of these phones. Sam Mobile has reported the Galaxy Note 10 that bears a model number SM-N975. It will be the second flagship phone from Samsung to arrive with four rear-mounted cameras after the Galaxy S10 5G that was announced in the previous week. It is too early to confirm whether or not the Galaxy Note 10 will be featuring the same quad camera setup available on the Galaxy S10 5G. The upcoming Note series phone may feature an Infinity-O display design as seen on Galaxy S10 lineup.

There is a possibility that the phone may come in two variants. The first one supporting only 4G LTE connectivity with a model number of SM-N970, while the other one could be a 5G-ready device with SM-N975 model number.

According to The Wall Street Journal report from the previous month, Apple will be launching three iPhones this year. These will be the successors for the iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max smartphones launched last year. The publication further stated that the Phone XS Max that is also being dubbed as the iPhone 11 Max will be equipped with triple rear cameras.

The Apple A13 chipset will be driving the 2019 iPhones. After launching iPhones with wider notches over the past two years, the upcoming iPhones may come equipped with smaller notches. Just as the Galaxy Note 9 rivaled the iPhone XS Max last year, the Note 10 will be competing with the iPhone XS Max successor this year. A recent report has revealed that the 5G iPhone will be debuting in 2020. Hence, there may not be a 5G-ready iPhone this year.

Since only few details about the Galaxy Note 10 and iPhone XS Max successors have been revealed so far, it is advisable to wait for further reports to decide which one could be a better device.
