The final season of “Game of Thrones” is an event, and fans might want to make sure their menu is more exciting than usual. These dishes are straight from Westeros, and they’re sure to impress at your viewing parties.

Sansa’s Lemon Cakes — This is pretty much every fan’s first “Game of Thrones” baking project. Sansa is known for these little treats, and they’re super easy for even beginners to bake. Rosanna Pansino’s recipe from her Nerdy Nummies channel is tasty and easy to follow. (If Meyer lemons are unavailable, it might be best to leave out the candied lemon slices.)

Cersei’s Creamy Chestnut Soup — Before Cersei was ruling King’s Landing, she was a queen hosting dinner parties. In “A Clash of Kings,” the second book in George R.R. Martin’s book series, she served this dish at a dinner Tyrion attended, and even he had to admit that she served delicious food. The Inn at the Crossroads has a recipe for the soup.

Hot Pie’s Direwolf Bread — Who can forget when Hot Pie gave Arya bread shaped like a direwolf? This recipe on Bon Appétit is perfect for anyone who doesn’t have a lot of fancy tools. The website has a wolf template for shaping, and it only requires the baker to just use their hands, a whisk and a wooden spoon.

Purple Wedding Pigeon Pie — Margaery and Joffrey’s memorable wedding included a pigeon pie. While actual birds won’t fly out of this baking creation, it is quite a decadent meat pie that will definitely take some time to make. Binging With Babish includes squab, boar, rabbit and bacon in this “Game of Thrones” recipe.

Dothraki Blood Pie — The Dothraki don’t mind a little blood, but it’s not exactly something the average American cooks with much. While many recipes use cups of pigs blood, this recipe from Pepper uses blood sausage instead, making it a little easier for the weak-stomached chefs.

Remember to pair your food with “Game of Thrones” alcohol. The series has wine, beer and Scotch whisky available.

“Game of Thrones” premieres Sunday on HBO.
