Sure, winter is coming and all, but the big news in the “Game of Thrones” world Tuesday was the announcement that the HBO fantasy series is coming to San Diego Comic-Con this summer. Westeros will visit the west coast event for both a star-studded panel and an autograph signing, according to a press release from HBO.

The “Game of Thrones” Comic-Con panel will take place on Friday, July 10 (at 2:30 p.m. PDT in Hall H, for those able to attend the conference). “Late Night with Seth Meyers” host Seth Meyers will moderate a discussion about Season 5's biggest moments and what lies ahead for Season 6. The panel will include cast members Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy/Reek), John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth), Liam Cunningham (Ser Davos Seaworth), Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell), Conleth Hill (Varys), Hannah Murray (Gilly), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), Carice van Houten (Melissandre) and Maisie Williams (Arya Stark).

According to Access Hollywood, executive producer Caroyln Strauss and director David Nutter, the man behind the camera for the Season 5 finale, featuring the death of Jon Snow (Kit Harrington), will also be in attendance.

An autograph signing will follow the panel at 4:15 p.m. EDT. HBO directs fans to follow all of the Comic-Con action live from home via the official “Game of Thrones” twitter account.

Loyal viewers will be hoping the event will shed some light on a few of the questions left unanswered in the Season 5 finale. Did Sansa and Theon survive their fall? Did Brienne really kill Stannis? Will Jon Snow return to the show?

Speaking of Jon Snow, Kit Harrington was not listed as one of the cast members in the panel. That will certainly be a disappointment for fans that would relish the chance to get the actor’s thoughts on his character’s death and potential return.

Comic-Con begins in San Diego on July 9. The “Game of Thrones” panel will take place on July 10.
