Peter Dinklage and his wife Erica Schmidt are expecting their second child and would soon become a family of four, a source confirmed the news Thursday to People. The couple already has a 5-year-old daughter named Zelig Dinklage.

Schmidt's growing baby bump came into the spotlight Wednesday when the couple walked the red carpet at an event in New York for The New Group's play "All the Fine Boys," which has been written and directed by her husband, Entertainment Tonight reported. The 47-year-old "Games of Thrones" star and his 41-year-old wife were congratulated by the play's cast. Abigail Breslin, who was among the play's cast, reportedly celebrated the good news by cradling Schmidt's baby bump as they all posed for photos.

The two got married in 2005 and welcomed their first child in 2011. Shortly before Zelig came into the couple's life, Dinklage won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor at the 67th Emmy Awards in 2015 for his role of Tyrion Lannister in "Game of Thrones." The mega-hit HBO series grabbed 12 Emmy awards that year and broke the record for most Emmy wins in one year.

The actor was stunned after receiving the award and gave his wife an emotional shout-out during his acceptance speech. "I love you, Erica. You're amazing," he said from the stage.

In 2012, Dinklage also won a Golden Globe and said he was worried about his daughter who was left alone with a babysitter for the first time and all he could do to make sure she was OK was "all about the texting."

"Everything’s fine — so far. She's a baby. Crying never killed anyone. Well, maybe that's not true," he told People at the time.

"Game of Thrones" is set to return later this year with Season 7.
