Sasha is convinced she can keep Michael from learning the truth, but on the Thursday Aug.1 episode of “General Hospital,” Cassandra will make a decision that threatens to expose the secret Sasha and Valentin have been hiding from Nina.

In the promo video for the ABC soap opera, Cassandra (Jessica Tuck) calls someone and tells them to listen to what she has to say. “General Hospital” spoilers suggest Cassandra is eager to make her way back to Port Charles.

In the previous episode, Cassandra started a conversation with Sasha and learned the young woman is Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) daughter. “GH” fans may remember that Cassandra blackmailed Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), and Nina later put her in a coma by drugging her while she was unconscious.

If Cassandra figures out the two conspired to make Nina believe Sasha was her daughter, she could use the information to blackmail Valentin. However, she could also expose the truth, which would hurt the couple and most likely destroy their relationship.

Will Cassandra use Sasha and Valentin’s secret as leverage, or will she tell Nina the truth about their secret?

Elsewhere in the ABC promo video, Lulu (Emme Rylan) tells Laura (Genie Francis), “This is happening to me.” “General Hospital” spoilers reveal Laura checks in on Lulu.

Lulu has been devastated since she received divorce papers from Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). It appears Lulu will lash out at Laura as she struggles to cope with the end of her marriage. Luckily, Laura won’t be offended and will understand her daughter’s pain.

Will Laura be able to calm Lulu and help her get through this divorce, or will Lulu continue on a downward spiral?

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EDT on ABC.
