Nina and Sonny are starting to grow closer, but on the Thursday, April 14, episode of “General Hospital,” their blossoming romance may be in jeopardy after a scary incident.

In the previous episode, Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Nina (Cynthia Watros) were in the process of locking up Charlie’s Pub when two masked gunmen pushed their way inside the bar.

In the ABC promo video, Sonny tells the gunman to leave as Nina appears frightened. “GH” spoilers reveal Sonny tries to lower the temperature as he and Nina face a crisis.

Although Sonny typically has a bodyguard by his side, he sent him to accompany Phyllis (Joyce Guy) to make her bank deposit, which means he is on his own for this battle. It appears Sonny will do his best to get the gunmen to leave, but the incident will leave Nina shaken.

Nina knows Sonny is a mob boss, she hasn’t experienced the dangers of associating with a powerful criminal.

Sonny knows he has to constantly watch his back and Nina may struggle to accept that aspect of his lifestyle. Will the incident at Charlie’s scare Nina into abandoning her relationship with Sonny?

Elsewhere in the promo video for the soap opera, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) tells Sam (Kelly Monaco) he needs to know that he can trust her for things to work. “General Hospital” spoilers reveal Sam is caught in a compromising position.

In the previous episode, Sam unlocked Dante’s phone in hopes of learning more about the case the police are building have against Trina (Tabyana Ali). However, before she could find anything, Dante caught her.

Carly (Laura Wright) previously asked Sam to find out more about Trina’s case because she is dating Dante, but Sam refused because she didn’t want to jeopardize their relationship.

While it appears Sam has since had a change of heart, will her snooping strain her relationship with Dante?

Other “GH” spoilers tease tensions will run high as Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), Chase (Josh Swickard), Austin (Roger Howarth), Maxie (Kirsten Storms), and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) converge at the gym, and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) seeks out Trina.

“General Hospital” airs on weekdays at 3 p.m. ET on ABC.
