After a cross-examination by Diane, it appeared Nina may have lost the visitation hearing against Willow and Michael. However, on the Wednesday, May 25, episode of “General Hosptial,” Sonny will go against his family and take the stand.

In the promo video of the ABC soap opera, Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) asks Sonny (Maurice Benard) why the court should trust his judgment about Nina (Cynthia Watros). “GH” spoilers reveal things escalate in court as the visitation hearing continues.

In the previous episode, Nina attempted to suggest that Nelle (Chloe Lanier) would have been a different person if Nina knew she was her daughter. However, Diane called Nina delusional after reminding her that she was in a 20-year coma that would have never allowed her to raise Nelle.

Diane then made Nina admit that she kept Sonny from his family after she found him alive in Nixon Falls. After the damaging cross-examination, Sonny demanded to be put on the stand to defend Nina.

The announcement that he would testify on Nina’s behalf left Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), Michael (Chad Duell), and Carly (Laura Wright) stunned.

Even though Nina kept Sonny from his family and ruined his marriage with Carly, it appears he will ask the court to allow her to see her grandson.

Although Diane will challenge his credibility, is Sonny the key to Nina winning the visitation battle against Willow and Michael?

Elsewhere in the promo video for the ABC soap opera, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) tells Cameron (William Lipton) that she has finally figured out a way to stop Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl). “General Hospital” spoilers reveal that Josslyn consoles Cameron.

In the previous episode, Cameron learned Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) decided to commit herself to protect her family. It appears Josslyn will comfort Cameron in his time of need and lay out her plan to destroy Esme.

Will focusing on Esme be the distraction Cameron needs after learning his mother will be going away?

Other “GH” spoilers reveal Rory (Michael Blake Kruse) seeks out Trina (Tabyana Ali) at the gallery, and Ava (Maura West) and Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) try to charm each other.

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. ET on ABC.
