Boxing world champion Gervonta "Tank" Davis, who was arrested on a domestic violence charge in Florida on Tuesday, has an estimated net worth of $4 million.

Davis is one of the biggest stars in the lightweight division, according to Marca. It is believed Davis' fight against Mario Barrios for the WBA super-lightweight belt in June earned him over $5 million, which was the biggest payday of his career.

He owns several luxury cars, including a Rolls Royce, a Ferrari, and a Lamborghini, AS EN reported. He has more than nine years of professional boxing career, with 27 wins and zero losses.

On Tuesday, reports surfaced the 28-year-old boxing star was booked into Broward County jail on a battery charge.

This is not the first time the boxer has had a run-in with the police. Before this, Davis was arrested in a domestic violence case.

In 2020, a video captured Davis' on video forcefully grabbing his ex-girlfriend — and the mother of his child — by the throat at a charity basketball game at the University of Miami.

"As a result of an ongoing investigation after being notified through social media and the victim, on Feb. 1, 2020, the above-pictured subject was observed battering his former girlfriend [and the mother of his child]," the police said in a statement at the time.

Days after the video started to make rounds on Twitter, he surrendered to the police. He was charged with simple battery domestic violence.

Footage of the altercation shows Davis aggressively approaching and yanking her. He then forcibly leads the woman out of the arena, the video shows.

Davis is set to appear in court on against Hector Luis Garcia in Washington, DC, on Jan. 7.

On March 22, 2021, Davis was indicted on fourteen counts for allegedly running a red light after a November 2020 birthday party in downtown Baltimore. While speeding, his Lamborghini SUV struck another car, hospitalizing four occupants to the hospital.

As of June, Davis is ranked as the world's tenth-best active boxer, pound for pound, by the Boxing Writers Association of America. He is also ranked the world's best active lightweight by BoxRec, third by ESPN, and fifth by the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board and The Ring magazine.
