Gigi Hadid had already been pregnant while she was walking down the runway during the February Fashion Week.

Almost a month in since the much-touted news of Hadid’s pregnancy, the supermodel has opened up about how she had already been a “few months” pregnant even before her previously cryptic hints that she was expecting.

Hadid disclosed the story in an Instagram Live session with Maybelline on Wednesday (May 20) afternoon. The 25-year-old blonde beauty, who is expecting her first child with English singer-songwriter Zayn Malik, said that she was already pregnant during the past February’s Fashion Week runways.

While applying her signature beauty look in the video session, Hadid revealed the news with makeup artist Erin Parsons. The two were also discussing the supermodel’s noticeably rounder face shape during the Fashion Month, which apparently became subject to speculations that she had cheek fillers.

Pointing out her natural face shape, Hadid shut down the guesswork, saying that the false claims only began circulating during Fashion Month as she already was a “few months preggo.” During that time, the supermodel was walking runways in Milan, Paris, London and New York while secretly expecting.

Hadid had initially remained tight-lipped regarding her pregnancy, only dropping hints and clues that seemingly augmented that she was indeed with child. In late April, TMZ reported that the supermodel had already been 20 weeks or five months along, which appears to be in accordance with her recent statement during her and Parsons’ Instagram Live interview.

Meanwhile, during her appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” Hadid officially confirmed her pregnancy after casting a shadow over it for a while.

"Obviously, you know, we wish we could've announced it on our own terms, but we're very excited and happy and grateful for everyone's well wishes and support, so thank you," the supermodel said when Fallon congratulated her on the baby news.

The former Victoria’s Secret angel also added that she is currently “trying” to feel present while she takes in every moment of her pregnancy amid the global coronavirus scare. Hadid calls being able to come home together a “nice silver lining” especially during this unfortunate time.
