Gigi Hadid Is ‘So Excited’ To Be Pregnant With Zayn Malik’s Baby

Gigi Hadid was able to take the modeling world by storm, and she is reportedly looking forward to conquering her latest challenge, motherhood. Following rumors that the 25-year-old was pregnant with her first child, her mother, Yolanda Hadid, confirmed the baby news on Wednesday.

Hadid began dating Zayn Malik in 2015 following her split from Joe Jonas. Although Malik and Hadid announced their break up in 2018, they got back together two months later, only to split again and eventually rekindled their romance earlier this year.

A source recently told Us Weekly that the model is thrilled about having Malik by her side amid her pregnancy. “Gigi has been telling her close friends and family about her pregnancy news and was trying to keep it low-key,” the insider revealed.

“She has been so grateful for all the well-wishes and congratulations she’s received. She’s so excited to be a mom and so happy to be pregnant and to be embarking on this new journey of motherhood, especially with Zayn by her side.”

In February, Hadid told i-D magazine that she would be open to starting a family someday. “I think that as I get older — well, one day I’ll start a family, and I don’t know if I will always be modeling,” she revealed.

However, she admitted that motherhood would be one of her many options in the future. “I love the creative side of fashion, it’s so fulfilling. The people I work with make me so happy, I’m so lucky to be around them. But who knows? Maybe I’ll take up full-time cooking!” the model said.

Although Hadid made it clear that she was excited about whatever the future holds, her mother recently opened up to Dutch publication RTL Boulevard about her daughter’s pregnancy.

“Of course we are so excited. I’m excited to become an Oma in September especially after I lost my mom so recently. But this is the beauty of life, one soul leaves us, and a new one comes in. We feel very blessed,” the fashion model revealed.
