The humans of the Bad Place have to make a tough choice in Season 2, episode 4 of “The Good Place.”

According to the synopsis for the next episode of the NBC series, Eleanor (Kristen Bell), Chidi (William Jackson Harper), Tahani (Jameela Jamil) and Jason (Manny Jacinto) struggle to make a collective decision as Michael (Ted Danson) approaches things from a new angle.

At the end of Season 2, episode 3, the humans found out for the 802nd time that they’re actually in the Bad Place. But instead of rebooting them once again, Michael presented them with an unexpected offer. “I wanna team up with you guys,” Michael told the humans, much to their surprise. “I’m in a bit of a bind, and I could use some backup. Or as Jason put it, I need a new dance crew. What do you say, new best friends?”

Apparently, as the synopsis suggests, the humans initially have divided reactions to Michael’s offer, but will the quartet eventually go along with Michael’s plan?

Michael was forced to try to connive with the humans when one of his crew members, Vicky (Tiya Sircar), threatened to tell Michael’s boss, Shawn (Marc Evan Jackson), about what’s really happening in the neighborhood.

Michael tried to convince Vicky to have a little more faith in his plan after his entire crew went on a strike. Vicky, however, didn’t think that Michael can ever pull his plan off. Vicky then ordered Michael to reboot the humans, before telling him that she’s taking over the neighborhood to execute her version of the Bad Place. When Michael expressed his disapproval to Vicky’s plan, Vicky handed him an envelope, containing a complete report of every mistake he has made in the neighborhood.

“[It contains] every screw-up, every reboot [you’ve made], all laid out in excruciating detail,” Vicky said. “Now, I’m sure your boss would love to hear all about how ‘Attempt #2’ is really going on. If you don’t do what I say, you’re going down.”

How do you think Michael and his potential new crew will counter Vicky’s plan? Sound off in the comments section below! “The Good Place” Season 2, episode 4, titled “Team Cockroach,” airs on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. EDT on NBC.
