During an Asian Champions League match last night, a player threw what looked like a piece of trash off of the pitch, but it exploded a second later near the field’s barrier.

Thankfully no one was hurt during the incident. The match was between Sephan FC of Iran and Al-Ahli SC of Saudi Arabia in Ishfahan, Iran, and eventually ended in a 0-0 draw.

In the video below, originally found by DeadSpin, a Sephan player picks up some debris as his teammates are talking with a referee and tosses it aside, and just as it hits the grown a smoky explosion causes everyone on the field to clear out.
