Grimes has broken her silence on her split from Elon Musk.

Days after Musk, 50, confirmed their breakup, Grimes, 33, whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher, joked that she has plans that are out of this world.

"I’ll be colonizing [one of Jupiter’s moons] Europa separately from Elon for the lesbian space commune," the Canadian musician told Page Six via email when asked about their split.

Grimes' response appears to refer to Musk and his company SpaceX's $178 million contract with NASA to help the latter reach Jupiter's ice-crusted moon, Europa, to determine whether it may host conditions suitable for life, the outlet noted. The planet has 79 moons.

The Tesla CEO confirmed last week that he and Grimes are "semi-separated" but remain on good terms. He also said they will continue to co-parent their 1-year-old son, X Æ A-Xii.

"We are semi-separated but still love each other, see each other frequently and are on great terms," Musk told Page Six on Friday. "It’s mostly that my work at SpaceX and Tesla requires me to be primarily in Texas or traveling overseas and her work is primarily in L.A. She’s staying with me now and Baby X is in the adjacent room."

Earlier this month, Musk attended a party hosted by Google co-founder Sergey Brin’s wife, Nicole Shanahan, alone, Page Six noted. Meanwhile, the "Oblivion" artist is busy filming the Fox competition show "Alter Ego," where she serves as a judge.

Musk and Grimes started dating in 2018. They welcomed their son in May 2020.

In a recent interview with Vogue, Grimes shared that her son calls her by her first name, Claire, rather than mom or mama.

"I think having a baby was a big rebirth for me, like artistically," she said. "Being a mother feels weird to say. For some reason, I don't identify with that word."

She continued, "Which is also really weird because X, he says 'Claire,' but he doesn't say 'mama.' Which is so... I'm like, 'How are you...?' Like, maybe he can sense my distaste for the word 'mother.'"

Grimes also admitted in a previous interview that she felt like she was sacrificing her power when she had "unprotected sex" with Musk because for her, getting pregnant is sacrificing one's body and freedom.

"I do actually just really love my boyfriend. So I was like, ‘You know, sure,'" she told Rolling Stone about Musk. "He's just very good at talking me out of my bulls--t. I've learned a lot about controlling my state of mind."
