One would think that quarantining at home would be one of the safest places but it's turned out to be the perfect place for celebrities to injury themselves.

The latest celebrity victim to wind up with an injury amid the coronavirus pandemic is Halsey. The 25-year-old singer opened up about the shockingly unexpected way that she hurt her ankle in an interview with Capital Breakfast on Tuesday.

"I was loading the dishwasher and I pulled the door down to load the dishwasher," she began. "And the kitchen floor was wet and I tripped over the dishwasher door."

She jokingly added, "After, you know, 2,000 live shows, where I'm jumping around for two hours, I finally fractured my ankle. In the kitchen. At my house."

Days prior to the virtual interview Halsey explained in a tweet, "I REALLY slammed that [expletive] haha."

Halsey isn't the only celebrity to fall victim to an ankle injury. Actress Nicole Kidman did as well and also in an unexpected way.

During a virtual appearance with the Australian talk show "The Project," Kidman's husband, country star Keith Urban explained how his wife ended up in a boot.

"About five weeks ago she was running around the neighborhood as she does and just didn't see a pothole and rolled her ankle and got a small break in her ankle," he revealed. "And so she's been relegated to the boot for the last handful of weeks and is still sort of getting through it."

Another thing the celberity ladies have in common is the way they've been handling their injuries.

Urban shared that Kidman's "spirits have been amazing" adding that "she's been handling it way better than I would've." Meanwhile, Halsey has taken up some other hobbies like cooking and watching television.

"I took my brace off my ankle cause it was itchy and now I need to put it back," she wrote. "I made a quiche and fresh spinach butternut squash ravioli. Law is fun but hard. Beautiful sky. Can’t stop watching avatar. and judging from the baby pic I’ve been a disassociating little freak who romanticizes the 70s for my whole life. That’s all, thank you."
