Hannibal
"Hannibal" fans are going to have to wait a while for the Season 3 premiere. NBC

Bad news, Hannibal fans. The wait for Season 3 of the NBC drama might longer than we thought. While most reports and speculation had put the premiere of the new season in early 2015, executive producer Bryan Fuller revealed in a recent interview that new episodes aren't likely until April or May.

Filming for the third season of “Hannibal” will not even begin until late October. Fuller has been busy as of late finishing “High Moon,” an original movie he created for Syfy. Now that he is turning his attention back to “Hannibal,” there does not seem to be any rush to get the new episodes out.

Fuller has been quick, however, to dish out spoilers for the new episodes. Season 3 will pick up a year later with Hannibal now in Florence, where he fled after the murderously shocking events in the Season 2 finale. Hannibal will be starting a new life with Bedelia under fake identities, but he won’t have much time to relax. Will, who was almost killed by Hannibal in the Season 2 finale, is hunting down the killer, and the two seem destined for an Italian rendezvous. With Fuller leaking that Hannibal will at least make a pit stop in prison during the new season, sparks are sure to fly when the two meet again.

While fans are surely excited to see what will happen when the new season kicks off, they are going to have to have a little patience with the pushed back release date.
