Fans have been patiently waiting for the release of Harry Styles’ self-titled debut solo album and it looks like the project was worth the wait.

On Friday, the singer released all of his new music and the album got fans so pumped up that “#HarryStylesAlbum began to trend on Twitter.

It’s no secret that as a member of One Direction, Styles already has a pretty strong fan base but following the release of his solo music, the fandom couldn’t help but praise the singer’s new work.

Some fans were so amazed by Styles’ new songs that they couldn’t help but thank him for such beautiful music. “I Can’t thank @Harry_Styles enough for making this album all the songs sound amazing! Well done & congrats harry,” one fan wrote.

“Anyway, i love this album very very very very much and i thank harry for what he does for us. loads of love for this baby. #harrystylesalbum,” another fan tweeted.

Other fans saw the album as a work of art and were happy with the entire album. “Honestly every song is a masterpiece on its own and has a story and a certain feeling and vibe and I love it so much. #HarryStylesAlbum,” one fan wrote.

However, some supporters were more focused on particular songs like “Two Ghosts,” which is rumored to be about Styles’ ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift. “‘We’re just two ghosts standing in the place of you and me Trying to remember how it feels to have a heartbeat’ #harrystylesalbum,” one fan tweeted, quoting lyrics from the tune.

During an appearance on Nick Grimshaw’s BBC Radio 1 breakfast show, Styles was asked by the host if the song was about Swift who wrote a song called “Style” which was assumed to be about Styles.

Although the 1D singer didn’t give Grimshaw a direct answer, he tried to explain what the song was about.

“I think it’s pretty self-explanatory,” he told the host. However, when Grimshaw asked for a better explanation the singer attempted to elaborate.

“I think it’s about, sometimes things change and you can do all of the same things and sometimes it’s just different, you know,” Styles said.

In the song “Two Ghosts,” Styles sings several things that relate to Swift’s “Style.” “Same lips red, same eyes blue/ Same white shirt, couple more tattoos/But it’s not you, and it’s not me/Tastes so sweet, looks so real/Sounds like something that I used to feel/But I can’t touch what I see/We’re not who we used to be/We’re not who we used to be/We’re just two ghosts standing in,” he sings in the tune.

“You got that James Dean daydream look in your eye/ And I got that red lip classic thing that you like/ And when we go crashing down, we come back every time/ ‘Cause we never go out of style,” Swift sings in her hit song “Style.”

Although the singer has yet to confirm who “Two Ghosts” is about, there are plenty more songs on the album and reviews for Styles’ debut solo project are still being released. No matter what critics say, there is no doubt that his fans will be in full support of his new music and will continue to praise his talents.
