Following some teasing on his part, Harry Styles finally revealed the name of his upcoming single and fans went wild. The singer, who is currently on hiatus from his group One Direction, has been working on his solo project for quite some time.

On Friday, the singer sent out a simple tweet which read “SIGN.OF.THE.TIMES // 7.APRIL.17 //.” Attached to the message was a photo of Styles sitting in water with his back to the camera looking out into the sunset.

Shortly after his tweet, “Sign of the Times” began trending on Twitter with fans gushing over their excitement about his upcoming music.

Many fans were ecstatic about the release of the song even though they have yet to hear it. “I’m going to get ‘Sing of the Times’ tattooed on my forehead,” one fan wrote.

Others warned their Twitter followers that there will be a nonstop flow of styles on their feed. “Unfollow me now if you hate HES .. cause ‘Sign of the Times’ is all im gonna tweet about today and every day from now on,” one fan tweeted.

Other fans were just impressed with Styles’ choice when it came to naming the song. “Okay the fact that it's called ‘Sign Of The Times’ is honestly so beautiful bc you just know how deep and mind boggling it’ll be like Harry,” one fan wrote.

Although fans still have a few days to go before the can hear Styles’ song, they can look forward to hearing him sing it live when he appears on “Saturday Night Live” on April 15.
