An innocent comment turned out to be a big mistake for Bella Thorne. The actress, who was most likely scrolling through Instagram during the early hours of Thursday morning, came across a photo of One Direction Member Louis Tomlinson and decide to post her thoughts about the snapshot, something the singer’s fans were not happy about.

Tomlinson posted a photo of himself looking happy as he posed in the middle of four ladies with the caption “Exciting.” One of the girls in the photo leaned in close to the pop star looking as if she was laying her head on his shoulder.

“Awww,” Thorne commented on the picture. Despite the short comment, it caused an uproar among Tomlinson fans, which resulted in the fan base attacking the “Famous in Love” actress on Twitter. Some going as far as threatening her life.

“There is seriously something wrong with bella thorne,” one fan wrote.

“I really hate you ‘Bella Thorne’” another One Direction fan tweeted.

Some fans tweeted at the actress telling her to “stay in her lane,” while other fans of Tomlinson made fun of Thorne’s dyslexia by creating memes and moving the letters in the words around.

However, some fans didn’t understand why the actress was being attacked over a simple comment. “Y’all are attacking Bella Thorne because she commented ‘aww’... y’all really have no lives,” one Twitter user wrote.

“She just... Commented a photo on Instagram... Calm down,” another fan tweeted.

“I understand that you’re all obsessed with who the boys date, but you don’t get to shame women like Bella Thorne or make threats bc of it,” another tweet reads.

Thorne has yet to address the Twitter comments. Check out more reactions from fans below.
