Comedian Heather McDonald collapsed onstage during a stand-up comedy show Saturday night.

The 51-year-old comedian suffered a fracture after fainting just three minutes after her 7 p.m. show at Tempe Improv in Arizona. She was admitted to a local hospital and had to undergo comprehensive tests to determine her condition, according to her representative, People reported.

"Thus far the tests have revealed no underlying medical issues that may have precipitated this event," the representative said, noting that McDonald performed with ease the night before the incident and she did not consume any alcohol before or during the show on Saturday. The "Chelsea Lately" alum spent the morning with her son before her show that night.

The representative believes her fainting episode may not be associated with COVID-19 because she received a booster shot about three weeks ago and recently tested negative for the virus.

Some members of the audience said the comedian delivered her second joke about having been "vaxxed, double vaxxed, boosted ... and flu shot and shingle shot and haven't gotten COVID and Jesus loves me most," TMZ reported. But as soon as McDonald delivered the joke, she collapsed and hit her head on the floor. An emergency medical technician and a nurse who were among the audience rushed up to the stage to provide first aid.

The comedian's sister-in-law drove her to the hospital.

The "Juicy Scoop" podcast host posted a video Saturday night on her Instagram Stories assuring fans that she will be back soon.

"So, I'm in the emergency room. I look weird. I'm so sorry," McDonald said in the clip.

"You can see my eye. I fell on my eye. Oh my god, I'm so, so, so, so sorry. I passed out onstage. I got up, I did one joke and I felt so dizzy," she said. "I cannot believe this happened. I feel so terrible that they had to tell everyone to leave and then cancel the second show. Tempe, I will be back. I've never ever fainted in my life."
