The wild turkey, so popular as the integral part of a Thanksgiving Day feast, is native to the North American forests and finds itself in the news for more than one reason.

Apparently turkey attacks are quite common and people living in areas they frequent are accustomed to its act.

The courageous act of an inquisitive news producer who continued filming while being chased and harassed by a wild turkey has received over 450,000 views on YouTube and gone viral, since it was posted on Oct. 7.

The producer, Duffy Kelly, who works for News 10, heard of several similar incidents in the Sacramento County neighborhood and set out to personally experience the whole deal.
