Hilary Duff Call Out Haters On Twitter, Followers Criticize ‘Younger’ Star For Kissing Son Luca On The Lips

Hilary Duff has a few choice words for anyone who has a problem with her kissing her son on the lips. The actress spoke out against commentators on Tuesday who bashed her for posting a photo that featured the star giving the little boy a kiss.

Duff, who has previously shared photos of herself kissing four-year-old Luca on the lips, took to social media after posting her most recent photo of the two Monday evening. The comments she received after sharing the picture caused the “Younger” actress to address naysayers. In the post, the mother and son are photographed at Disneyland sharing a smooch.

Duff tweeted out a photo on Tuesday telling those who identified her kissing her son on the lips as “inappropriate” to unfollow her on social media. She also accused those with negative opinions of her choice to having “warped minds and judgment.”

“You could kiss them on the cheek and avoid the drama. Or it looking weird. Simple,” one Instagram user wrote.

“Lack of affection in early childhood can severely impact your emotions, empathy, and mental health later on in life. I see this was something the angry commenters never got to experience. You're a great momma!!” another user wrote.

Duff, who shares Luca with ex-husband Mike Comrie, appeared on the daytime show “The Talk” in early December where she shared some of her frustrations from the criticism she receives for being a mother. “I feel like I was judged for having a baby too soon and getting married too soon, and now I’m pigeonholed for being a ‘mom,’” she told the hosts. Duff was 24 when she gave birth to her son in 2012, the actress then split from her husband in 2014.

Duff admitted to dating Jason Walsh on “Good Day New York” on Sept. 26 however, their breakup was later confirmed at the end of November.
