During her time as a candidate for president, Hillary Clinton allegedly approved a plan to have protesters decked out in Donald Duck costumes disrupt campaign rallies for Donald Trump, according to Donna Brazile. Brazile, the former chair of the Democratic National Committee, detailed the stunt in her new book.

Brazile said she was angered over the “Clinton Donald Duck project,” according to Yahoo news. Disney, apparently, was also not happy with the stunt.

“With all the noise and confusion and flat-out fear of this campaign, the duck did not surface to the level of my other concerns until one of my bosses at ABC emailed me,” Brazile wrote. “The message was titled, ‘I hate to bother you on your time off … BUT – Richard Bates of the Walt Disney Company is trying to reach you about the DNC’s using Donald Duck. He is desperate.”

Brazile went on to detail the conversation between herself and Robin Sproul, the D.C. bureau chief of ABC News.

“Donna, you have got to stop using the duck,” Sproul said.

“What do you mean,” Brazile responded.

“Well, the Clinton campaign and the DNC are using Donald Duck at these Trump events,” Sproul responded.

“No we're not,” Brazile said. “I didn’t approve that.”

After learning of the scheme, Brazile said she told one of her top aides to “Kill the f------ duck, god damn it.”

In addition to the duck costumery, there is no shortage of explosive revelations in Brazile’s freshly released book, “Hacks: The Inside Story of the Break-ins and Breakdowns That Put Donald Trump in the White House.” In a separate excerpt provided to Politico, Brazile described an alleged arrangement in which Clinton took on the Democratic National Committee’s $24 million debt.

“The funding arrangement … was not illegal, but it sure looked unethical,” she wrote. “If the fight had been fair, one campaign would not have control of the party before the voters had decided which one they wanted to lead.”

Brazile also likened her time in the Clinton campaign to slavery.

“I’m not Patsey the slave,” Brazile recalled telling staffers, an apparent reference to a character from the movie “12 Years A Slave.” “Ya’ll keep whipping me and whipping me and you never give me any money or any way to do my damn job. I am not going to be your whipping girl!”
