There's been a lot of talk surrounding Brody Jenner and Kaitlynn Carter's relationship, but there shouldn't be for much longer. The couple set the record straight on "The Hills: New Beginnings" season finale.

Monday night's episode saw the cast come together for Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag's vow renewal. However, when questioned about his marriage and if he sleeps with other women, Brody basically told everyone to mind their own business.

“Whatever we do behind closed doors or whatever, that’s between us,” he told Pratt, according to People. “That’s really nobody else’s business.”

Another thing the 36-year-old feels is none of anyone's business -- why he and Kaitlynn never made their marriage official. Kaitlynn set the record straight on this matter during her own confessional.

“Right before we went to Indonesia to get married, we started talking about getting our license here in the States, but we had a lot of like financial things that we needed to work out,” the 31-year-old said. “We realized like, you know, we just want to focus on being excited about Indonesia and our wedding there, so let’s just deal with it when we get back. But we haven’t gotten around to it yet.”

It turned out to be a pretty good thing that the couple lagged on getting the official paperwork because just over a year after the exotic ceremony, the two split.

Since the split, Kaitlynn has been linked to pop star Miley Cyrus -- who also recently split from husband Liam Hemsworth -- while Brody has been seen out and about with Josie Canseco, daughter of MLB legend Jose Canseco.
