Thursday, Instagram updated its new stories feature, adding a ton of new tools to that will make “your story even more fun.”

You now have the ability to take a Boomerang and add it right inside Instagram Stories. All you need to do is swipe right from your feed in order to access the Stories camera. Below the record button you’ll find an option for Boomerang mode. Once selected, just tap record to shot the burst of photos that will play in your Story.

In addition to the new Boomerang mode, Instagram also added links and mentions to Stories. Mentions are similar to if you were tagging someone in a comment, which you can use the @ symbol by the username. You’ll also receive a notification in Direct Messages when you’ve been mention in someone else’s story. If you happen to get mentioned by someone you don’t follow, a notification will appear in your message requests.

Links were also added to Instagram Stories, but only for accounts that have been verified. The company is testing the feature right now, and says you’ll be able to see a “See More” option at the bottom of Stories.

Earlier this year, to compete against the popular social app Snapchat, Instagram added one of Snapchat’s most popular features: Stories. The feature lets you post as many photos and videos as you like in a slideshow format. Photos and video posted into Stories disappear after 24 hours.

Instagram Stories are available through Instagram for iOS in the Apple Store, for Android in Play Store and for Windows 10 in the Windows Store.
