How Donald Trump Detailed Ex-Wives Ivana, Marla’s First Meeting Years Ago: There Was ‘Conflict’

Donald Trump previously revealed what exactly went down during Ivana Trump and Marla Maples’ first meeting years ago.

In 1990, the POTUS was vacationing in Aspen with his ex-wife, Ivana, and their three children, Donald Jr., Eric, and Ivanka. While eating at the lavish restaurant Bonnie’s, Maples at another table right beside the Trumps.

After enjoying their lunch separately, Ivana and Maples found themselves standing next to each other outside the restaurant. There were claims that the former actress told President Trump’s first wife that she loves the POTUS.

On the other hand, there were also reports suggesting that Ivana urged Trump’s mistress to stay away from her husband. But in 2016, Melania Trump’s husband finally shed light on what really transpired that time.

While speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Barron Trump’s dad didn’t deny that there were tension and friction between the two women. However, he said that the press blew things out of proportion.

The POTUS also denied that Ivana and Maples got into a screaming match, and he also clarified that the two never pulled each other’s hair.

“Ivana and I were standing near the restaurant putting on our skis when Marla came out of Bonnie’s and suddenly, the two women were standing next to each other. You could tell there was conflict, friction, but no hair pulling,” the POTUS revealed.

President Trump went on to say that a 300-pound man told him that things could be worse because he had been in Aspen in 20 years but never been out on a date.

Meanwhile, Ivana and Maples have not been on good terms since then. In fact, the former finds it hard to even mention the latter’s name. While promoting her book “Raising Trump,” Ivana blamed Maples for the fallout of her marriage to the POTUS.

However, the same cannot be said about Ivana and Melania, as well as the FLOTUS and Maples. Ivana and Melania are reportedly civil towards each other. Melania and Maples, on the other hand, seem to be amicable towards each other.

The two women were both present during the POTUS’s inauguration years ago. At that time, Ivana was also there.
