Johnny Depp’s daughter, Lily-Rose Depp has long believed that her dad is innocent.

Years ago, Amber Heard filed for a restraining order against the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star after she accused Depp of hitting her and throwing an iPhone at her face during one of their heated fights.

On her Instagram account, Lily-Rose shared an adorable throwback photo of herself with her dad. In the snap, Depp is assisting his daughter while she tries to walk.

“My dad is the sweetest, most loving person I know. He’s been nothing but a wonderful father to my little brother and me, and everyone who knows him would say the same,” Lily-Rose captioned the snap.

As early as four years ago, Heard’s accusations against Depp already seemed inconsistent. According to Daily Mail, when police officers showed up at her home during one of her fights with Depp, the “Aquaman” star simply told the police that she was having an argument with her husband.

Heard failed to tell the police officers that she had been assaulted by Depp. Since there were no visible injuries and no signs of abuse, the responders decided to leave the scene.

While speaking with People, LAPD Sgt. Marlon Marrache said those police officers would have still conducted an investigation if there had been any signs of abuse regardless if Heard wanted to press charges or not.

But just days later, the actress appeared to be sporting bruises all over her body from the alleged attacks that weren’t there before. Looking back to the reports from years ago, there have already been obvious indications that Heard might have been lying.

Meanwhile, Lily-Depp’s mom, Vanessa Paradis, previously released a statement to TMZ in defense of her ex-husband.

“In all the years I have known Johnny, he has never been physically abusive with me and this looks nothing like the man I lived with for 14 wonderful years,” she said.
