Khloe Kardashian is moving on from her ex Tristan Thompson and focusing on their daughter following the NBA star's paternity bombshell, a report says.

On Monday, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star received a public apology from Thompson, who announced that a paternity test confirmed he is the father of Maralee Nichols' newborn son. The athlete admitted in court documents to having sex with Nichols in March last year, when he was still dating Kardashian.

Kardashian, 37, has not publicly commented on his apology, but she has since shared a photo on her Instagram Story that showed her enjoying desserts and spending time with their 3-year-old daughter True.

An unnamed source told E! News that Kardashian is "still very upset" and that the recent revelations have been "hard for her to accept."

"After everything they have been through, [Thompson] was still saying one thing and doing another. She knows she deserves so much better," the insider continued.

A second anonymous source confirmed to the outlet that Kardashian is still "very disappointed and hurt by him," but at this point, she is "relieved to be done."

"Khloe is all about trust and loyalty," the second insider explained. "She feels disrespected. She's ready to move on."

The Kardashian-Jenner family also has her back, with the first source telling E! News that they are "relieved" that the Good American founder seems to be "finally ready to move on and let go" of Thompson.

As for how she plans to handle her relationship with Thompson moving forward, the insider said Kardashian will continue to co-parent True with her ex and follow the custody schedule they have for their daughter.

Throughout their on-again, off-again relationship, Thompson was accused of cheating on Kardashian with several women, including Kardashian family friend Jordyn Woods.

Thompson and Kardashian first split in February 2019 after the former was caught kissing Woods, but they rekindled their romance more than a year later during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, in June 2021, they announced that they had called it quits again.

Nichols filed a lawsuit against Thompson in California last year, saying he is the father of her newborn son, whom she welcomed last month.

While the Sacramento Kings player initially denied fathering Nichols' child, Thompson wrote on his Instagram Story Monday that he takes "full responsibility" and plans to "amicably" raise his son with Nichols after paternity was established.

He then apologized to Kardashian, saying she "doesn't deserve" the heartache and humiliation he has caused her.

"You don't deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you," Thompson wrote. "I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry."

One insider recently told Us Weekly that Thompson "wants to make everything right" with Kardashian, but the reality star has no plans to ever rekindle their romance.

"[Thompson] wants to win her back, but she will never take him back romantically after learning about his cheating," the unnamed source said. "This was the final straw."
