  • Maria Bakalova talked about working with Pete Davidson on "Bodies Bodies Bodies" during an interview at Comic-Con 2022
  • She said Davidson was "disciplined" and "probably the most prepared" among the cast members during filming
  • The Bulgarian actress described the comedian as "generous," "nice" and "a sweetheart"

Pete Davidson received praise from "Bodies Bodies Bodies" co-star Maria Bakalova as she reflected on her experience filming the upcoming slasher movie.

Bakalova gushed over Davidson during an interview with E! News Saturday at Comic-Con 2022, revealing that she was surprised by the "Saturday Night Live" alum's attitude when it comes to work.

"What surprised me was that he was so freaking disciplined," the 26-year-old Bulgarian actress told E! News about working with Davidson. "He was probably the most prepared one of all of us, which is like, wow, he knows every single line that he will say, he is able to improvise just because of that, because he is freaking prepared."

The "Borat Subsequent Moviefilm" star — who was also at Comic-Con to promote another upcoming film, "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" — went on to describe Davidson as "generous and nice" and call him "a sweetheart."

"But I think you can pretty much guess that because somebody that is able to make jokes about himself has to be a nice person. Sarcasm, self-irony is like, a sign of intelligence. He's just incredible. He really is great," Bakalova added.

Davidson's girlfriend Kim Kardashian also has nothing but praise for the 28-year-old comedian.

In an episode of Hulu's "The Kardashians" that aired earlier this year, the Skims founder told her sisters Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian that it was her who made the first move after she made her hosting debut on "Saturday Night Live" in October 2021.

"Pete has got to be literally the best human being I've ever met. The best heart," Kim said in a confessional. "People always say, 'Oh, he's so funny.' ... That's like, fourth on my list of why I like him. He always wants the best for people, can handle anything and always does it with grace. He's really, really thoughtful, humble and just so genuine. I would say the perfect word to describe Pete is genuine."

Nine months after they shared a kiss in an "Aladdin" parody sketch on "SNL," Kim and Davidson's relationship is going strong. Just recently, an anonymous source told Us Weekly that the reality star and the actor make sure to spend time together despite their busy schedules.

"They both have busy schedules at the moment, but are still making time to be together," the source said. "They're very much enjoying spending time together."

Earlier this month, Kardashian reportedly traveled to Australia, where Davidson is currently filming the movie "Wizards!"

Directed by Halina Reijn, "Bodies Bodies Bodies" comes out in select theaters on Aug. 5, before hitting theaters everywhere on Aug. 12.
