On Black Friday 2016, VR fans can save $100 on the HTC Vive in stores and online, according to an announcement on Monday.

Vive will be available for $699 beginning at 2:59 a.m. EST on Nov. 24 and runs through 2:59 a.m. on Nov. 28, HTC Vive said in a press release. The discount is limited to one per customer, while supplies last.

"This is our first holiday with true virtual reality at a massive consumer level," said Dan O'Brien, vice president of VR VIVE.

"We want everyone to get into a Vive and experience the promise of Virtual Reality. Vive is the most complete Virtual Reality System. Everything you need to have the best VR experience is in a single box: the Vive Headset, two motion controllers, and two base stations for 360 degree room-scale tracking," he added.

The special also applies to the HP Vive Bundle.

HTC listed available retailers with Vive and Viveport, including Microsoft Stores, Amazon.com, Gamestop, Fry’s, Newegg.com, Micro-center and Vive.com.

There will also be a sale for all non-gaming VR content on the Viveport and HTC Vive app store. Consumers who spend $30 or more will get $10 back. Customers can also take advantage of a $5 deal on VR apps Soundstage, Arcade Artist, and Lumen. Viveport is also offering 50 percent off on more than 20 titles:
