  • They were "in good spirits" but "felt obligated to say hi to each other," according to the report

Lala Kent and Randall Emmett crossed paths for the first time publicly since their split at a Super Bowl party over the weekend.

The "Vanderpump Rules" star, 31, did not have an amicable breakup with her ex-fiancé, 50, in October last year, alleging that Emmett cheated on her multiple times throughout their relationship.

However, an unnamed source told Us Weekly that the exes were civil when they ran into each other at Sports Illustrated's "The Party" presented by ABG, Talent Resources and Resorts World Saturday.

"It was like they didn't know they would be at the same party and ran into each other and couldn't avoid each other because they were in the same VIP section," said the insider, who noted that Kent and Emmett, who share 11-month-old daughter Ocean, had a "brief" interaction.

The reality star, who was joined by her former "Vanderpump Rules" co-star Brittany Cartwright at the party, and her Hollywood producer ex were both "in good spirits" amid the festivities, according to the insider, but they seemingly "felt obligated to say hi to each other" because of their history.

"Others definitely picked up on the fact that they were at the same party, especially since their split was so public," the insider continued.

A rep for Kent, however, denied that the interaction happened.

Emmett reportedly spent time at the event with Migos and his friends. The producer's ex-wife, Ambyr Childers, also made an appearance but didn't interact with Emmett or Kent, the outlet noted.

Last month, Kent opened up about her ex-fiancé's alleged infidelity when she appeared on "Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen." She claimed Emmett's alleged cheating had been "going on for quite some time" before she broke up with him.

"It's been kind of repeated behavior that I have found out about," Kent claimed to host Andy Cohen. "And it's not just one person — it's many. I believe it started after I got sober, and it's just … I don't know how I didn't see it."

She pointed to alleged red flags about Emmett's behavior, which reportedly included "constant phone use" and "being gone" all the time.

"But I just figured, who would creep around with him?" Kent added, laughing. "I really thought that."

In the "Vanderpump Rules" Season 9 reunion, Kent broke down in tears as she spoke about her split with Emmett and told her co-stars that they should have informed her about the rumors of his alleged infidelity. She also said she felt "disgusted" that Emmett made her "feel safe enough to bring a child into this world."

Her co-star Scheana Shay later argued that if they had told Kent, the latter would only shut down any suggestion that Emmett was cheating on her.

"[Kent] says, 'Now I wish people came to me.' But at the same time, if people did come to her then and she didn't shut it down and she did leave him, she wouldn't have [her daughter] Ocean," Shay told Us Weekly last month.

Kent has since gotten back into the dating scene. She recently revealed on Amazon Live that she went on a date with a man she described as "built like Superman" and had "a lot of fun." She also shared that she hired a private investigator to run background checks on potential dates.
