Apple’s upcoming iPhone 11 lineup is a favorite subject of leaks all over the internet. Many of its specs have been leaked to the public, but the Cupertino tech giant hasn’t confirmed or denied anything at the moment. Now, a newly-leaked photo showing the device being used in public seems to confirm what earlier leaks have claim.

A new leak

The photo, uploaded to Chinese site Weibo, showed a man using the alleged iPhone 11 series smartphone inside what appears to be public transport. The person held the device in his hand while an audio accessory that looked like AirPods was on his ear. The alleged iPhone is also in a protective case, but the Apple logo could be seen through it.

The alleged iPhone looked like how early rumors described it, but there’s a key difference: the color of the camera module at the back.

Previous reports revealed that Apple’s upcoming iPhone 11 lineup is going to feature an upgraded camera setup: the iPhone XR successor will have two cameras while the iPhone XS and XS Max successors will both have three cameras. All of these cameras are placed inside a square camera module located at the top left corner of the device’s back side.

BGR noted that recent leaks indicated that the space between the cameras inside the module would feature a color similar to the iPhone’s overall color. The leaked photo, on the other hand, showed an iPhone with a black camera module. It’s unclear as to whether the device in the photo has two or three cameras.

It’s also worth noting that the alleged iPhone is in a case, which could alter the way it looks like. The photo showed a bluish-colored iPhone, but since it is inside a case, it is possible that it’s actually in space gray but the case makes it look more blue than gray.

Is it true?

It is difficult to tell if the device in question is an iPhone 11 series model based on the photo alone. What’s easier to say is that Apple will officially unveil the iPhone 11 lineup in just a few days’ time, and that it’s better to wait for the Cupertino tech giant’s official announcement.
