Ivanka Trump has had more of a role in her father’s impending presidency than arguably anybody else in her family. And aside from having her father’s ear, she’s been something of a fashion icon throughout the campaign, appearing at the president-elect’s side in some show stopping outfits.

The Ivy League graduate was a former model who went on to launch her eponymous clothing and accessories in 2007. The line expanded into a lifestyle brand which now includes sunglasses, home goods and fragrances. She has since stepped down from the line to move to Washington, D.C. with her husband Jared Kushner, a senior advisor in the Trump administration. While no longer at the helm of the company, Trump’s instinct for fashion hasn’t wavered.

“The instinct is to suppress our femininity, which is rooted in a concept that we should blend,” Trump told Forbes in 2010 when asked about young women “concealing their femininity.” “But how you get there is not through shoulder-pads or pinstripes. You gain the respect of your colleagues. If you have their respect, they will not criticize you for dressing like a woman.”

Both on the campaign trail and at other events, Trump has appeared in everything from long gowns to casual pantsuits. Her kelly green Oscar de la Renta coat and matching dress paired with nude heels made a statement Thursday during inauguration events honoring the new president, Donald Trump. An Instagram of her later in the night showed her in a flowing white gown complete with a massive black bow tied in the back. She stood alongside her father at his inauguration Friday in an all-white pantsuit and matching white stilettos.

The nation will likely see a lot more of the incoming president’s eldest daughter after he takes office. Here are a look back at some of Ivanka Trump’s most notable styles from the past few years.
