It looks like Dr. Katty Kupps (Christina Cox) will be sticking around for awhile.

In a sneak peek for tonight’s Season 3, episode 3 of “iZombie,” Ravi is shocked when his former boss, Katty, arrives at his morgue with a big luggage in tow.

“Dr. Kupps, welcome back,” Ravi says. “Wow! Look at that suitcase.”

“My hotel wouldn’t let me check in yet,” Katty explains. “And please, Ravi, call me Katty. I’m not your boss anymore.

Funnily enough, just after reminding Ravi that she’s no longer his superior, the visiting medical examiner casually asks Ravi to grab her a “diet soda, anything caffeinated” to drink.

Ravi timidly complies, but only after giving Katty a sarcastic reply. Watch the sneak peek below:

Ravi was Katty’s subordinate at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention until she fired him. Katty made her debut appearance in Season 3 premiere, in which she showed up at Ravi’s morgue to examine the body of one of the victims of the Max Rager massacre.

While examining the body, Katty found parts of human’s brain in the victim’s digestive track. She also noticed that the victim’s flesh looked like he’s been dead for a much longer time even though the massacre only took place three days ago.

According to the synopsis for episode 3, Katty gets closer to discovering the truth about zombies, so Ravi, Liv (Rose McIver) and the rest of Team Z must find a way to prevent Katty from connecting all the dots.

Also in the episode, Liv consumes the brain of a murdered lifestyle guru to help Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) solve the victim’s death. Meanwhile, Blaine and Peyton (Aly Michalka) continue their budding friendship, much to Ravi’s dismay; and Major (Robert Buckley) struggles a bit at his new job.

“iZombie” Season 3, episode 3, titled “Eat, Pray, Liv,” airs tonight at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
