Jennifer Aniston is more likely to get back with Justin Theroux than Brad Pitt.

For months, Aniston and Pitt have been rumored to be together. The exes haven’t confirmed the rumors, but their reps earlier said that they are just friends and are not together.

However, according to this report, the “Murder Mystery” actress is more likely to get back with her second ex-husband than with Pitt. Aniston remains friends with both of her exes. However, Theroux is showing more signs of a potential reconciliation than Pitt.

When Aniston celebrated her 50th birthday earlier this year, Theroux shared a sweet tribute for Aniston on Instagram.

“Happy birthday to this fierce woman,” he wrote. “Fiercely loving. Fiercely kind … and fiercely funny. Love you B.”

Meanwhile, when Pitt was asked if he and Aniston were together, the “Ad Astra” actor just laughed off the question and said “Oh, my God.” Pitt kindly excused himself from the paparazzi before driving his SUV while saying, “All right, have a good one.”

Many believed that Pitt and Aniston’s marriage ended because he fell in love with Angelina Jolie while filming “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” in 2004. In 2005, Aniston filed for divorce. Shortly after Aniston and Pitt’s split, the former was shocked that Pitt was photographed frolicking at the beach with Jolie and her son, Maddox.

In 2006, Jolie and Pitt announced that they were expecting their first child. Prior to the then-couple’s announcement, Leslie Bennetts did a tell-all interview with Aniston in the same year and she asked the “Cake” star about Jolie’s rumored pregnancy. Bennetts said that Aniston looked as if she was stabbed in her heart.

“Her eyes well up and spill over. Several long minutes go by as the tears keep rolling down her cheeks; she bites her lip, seemingly unable to speak. Finally, she shakes her head; this subject is simply too excruciating to discuss,” Bennetts said.

Pitt and Aniston’s reconciliation is reportedly “far-fetched.” They still have a long way to go in building up their friendship. However, since they are doing a lot better than the previous years, many claimed that they might be getting back together.
