“Friends” alum Jennifer Aniston is unlikely to respond to the divorce of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. After her famous split from Pitt in 2005, the actress has constantly been in the tabloids. Whether its rumors about her possibly being pregnant or cheating on her current husband, Justin Theroux, it seems like there’s always a story about her in the magazines.

While it’s possible Aniston could comment on Pitt’s split, her “For The Record” essay, which was published by the Huffington Post in July, makes it improbable. She slammed the media for objectifying her body and questioning for the “bajillionth” time if she was pregnant.

“From years of experience, I’ve learned tabloid practices, however dangerous, will not change, at least not any time soon. What can change is our awareness and reaction to the toxic messages buried within these seemingly harmless stories served up as truth and shaping our ideas of who we are,” Aniston wrote in July. “We get to decide how much we buy into what’s being served up, and maybe some day the tabloids will be forced to see the world through a different, more humanized lens because consumers have just stopped buying the bulls---.”

If Aniston decides to make a comment on Pitt’s divorce from Jolie, it won’t be on a platform like Facebook, Twitter or Instagram-- the actress doesn’t maintain any social media profiles.

Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt Monday after two years of marriage. She cited “irreconcilable differences.” The actress asked the judge to give Pitt visitation of their six children, which means she does not want to share custody.

The “Girl, Interrupted” star reportedly split from Pitt because she was “fed up” with his consumption of weed, a source told TMZ Tuesday. He has an “anger problem” that might be dangerous for their children, the insider added.
