Jennifer Aniston’s husband made a funny statement after learning that she already joined Instagram.

The “Friends” alum broke Prince Harry and Megan Markle’s record of reaching 1 million followers in a matter of hours. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex held the record after gaining 1 million followers in five hours and 45 minutes. However, Aniston broke it by reaching the same figure in only five hours and 16 minutes.

Aniston’s ex-husband, Justin Theroux, shared his thoughts about the actress joining the social media platform. He even joked that he was the “first” of the nearly 17 million people to follow her.

“I did not get a heads up (that Aniston was joining Instagram), it was actually a joke that I was first,” Theroux said. “I wrote first cause I was like the 40 trillionth billionth person to comment and I think she had only been on for a couple of hours.”

Theroux also made a funny statement about his ex-wife. According to him, now that Aniston is more accessible online “the world is about to discover how hilarious she can be.” Meanwhile, Aniston’s ex-boyfriend, John Mayer, said a nasty dig about the 50-year-old actress in terms of her impression about social media platforms.

“I’ll always be sorry that it didn’t last,” Mayer said. “In some ways I wish I could be with her. But I can’t change the fact that I need to be 32. If Jennifer Aniston knows how to use BitTorrent (an online file sharing platform), I’ll eat my [explicit] shoe.”

Mayer also revealed that aside from their age gap, there was a huge difference between them when it comes to using Twitter. However, he denied the rumors claiming that Aniston dumped him because he was tweeting too much.

In related news, Aniston and Brad Pitt were reportedly “desperate to start a family” when they were still together. On the popular sitcom “Friends”, Aniston had a baby named “Emma” An insider said that the role led the actress to convince Pitt that it was time for them to have a baby on their own. However, they were not able to create their own family as they split in 2005, a year before Pitt and Angelina Jolie welcomed their firstborn, Shiloh.
