  • Affleck's close pal and actor Matt Damon had an epic reaction to the "Bennifer" reunion

It seems Hollywood A-listers are just as excited as fans about the reunion of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez. Jennifer Lawrence, for one, was not able to contain her excitement when rumors about the yesteryear power couple's romantic getting-back-together hit newsstands.

Lawrence appeared on a recent podcast episode of Jackie Schimmel’s “The Bitch Bible” earlier this week, alongside her friend Heather McMahan, and chimed in on a discussion about the famous couple after reading a striking headline she found online.

“Breaking f******g news. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are back together,” Lawrence, who was shocked alongside Schimmel and McMahan, said. “They’re in Montana. They are on vacation with each other right now,” she continued.

Schimmel quickly asked Lawrence if the news came from a reputable news source and the latter confirmed it without thinking twice. The “Red Sparrow” actress added that she is so excited and happy for Affleck and Lopez.

The conversation then drifted to discussions about the engagement ring the "Let’s Get Loud” singer donned in 2002 after Affleck proposed to her. Most, if not all, fans can recall that Lopez donned the $1.2 million-dollar pink engagement band until 2004 when she parted ways with the “Justice League” actor.

For starters, Affleck and Lopez reportedly flew off to Yellowstone Club in Montana together. Insiders revealed to E! News that the former lovebirds have been together for about a week now and that they were alone.

Daily Mail even published snaps of Affleck and Lopez driving together in Montana. The “Bennifer” reunion reports came exactly a month after the “On the Floor” hitmaker called off her engagement with Alex Rodriguez, who is said to be saddened with his former ladylove’s reunion with Affleck.

"A-Rod is shocked that J.Lo has moved on," an unnamed informant told E! News. "He truly thought they would be able to make it work and reconnect. He has been reaching out to J.Lo trying to meet with her and she has been very short with him,” it went on.

Apart from Lawrence, other personalities such as “Jersey Girl” director Kevin Smith, comedian Michelle Collins, singer-actress Bette Middler and comedian Chris Rock gave their best wishes to the lovers. Matt Damon, who is a close pal of Affleck, said he hopes the “Bennifer” reunion reports are true.
